Welcome Laurie Legocki to Restorative Connections Counseling!
Laurie is a Clinical Counselor Candidate (PCLC), Certified Sexologist and Certified Intimacy and Relationship Coach with a PhD in Health Behavior. She specializes in working with individuals, teens, and couples navigating trauma, PTSD, chronic health conditions, relationship and intimacy challenges, and communication issues. Her style is warm, direct, and rooted in a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.
Laurie believes therapy should be a supportive, collaborative space where you feel safe to explore what’s really going on—without judgment or pressure. Whether you’re processing the weight of past trauma, working through a relationship rupture, or managing anxiety and disconnection, you'll work together to build clarity, self-trust, and emotional resilience.
Laurie provides therapy solely via telehealth at Restorative Connections and understands the unique dynamics of building strong therapeutic connections in virtual settings.
Her background includes leading and co-facilitating a combat veteran support group, leading studies in women's public health and reproductive concerns, as well as working with teens and adults experiencing a range of complex concerns. She has additional experience in working with individuals navigating neuropathic pain disorders in biological women, such as vulvodynia. With couples, Laurie is experienced in communication breakdowns, navigating stressors, conflict resolution and deepening connection. She uses evidence-based techniques with a focus on relational health, emotional regulation, and long-term healing.
Laurie offers weekend appointments as well!
